Features

Nuxt 3

Nuxt 3 is the next generation of the popular hybrid Vue framework, which allows us to use Vue for building server-side rendered applications.

Pinia

Pinia started as an experiment to redesign what a Store for Vue could look like with the Composition API around November 2019. It is a store library for Vue, it allows you to share a state across components/pages.

Skeleton

TorkGo installed skeleton to prevent showing empty screen before content loaded. You can it in most pages, specially product and post related pages.

JSON Server

We used JSON server. Agile combination of JSON and nuxt 3 took TorkGo to the top score. you could change server data and do whatever you want.

Made with sass

This template is made with sass. Every components and pages are add spectated scss file that why it's very easily customize and use.

How to run

Start Building, you need to take these following steps.

Installation

Before going further, you have to install Node.JS and NPM.

  1. Install Node.js and NPM
    You can download latest Node.js from https://nodejs.org/en/download/ and install it on your system. NPM comes bundled with Node.js
  2. Install npm packages
    In terminal go to your project root directory and run npm install command, it will download all the dependencies inside of node_modules folder.
Running Vue Development server

Follow the command:

  1. npm install or yarn install
  2. npm run dev or yarn run dev

access http://localhost:3008/ to run your app/project on browser. The app will automatically reload if you change any of the source files. As npm start runs watch command which detects any change in project files so it will automatically reload your app on browser if you make changes in files.

Production Building

Before you build your project, please see nuxt.config.js carefully and customize. Run npm run generate command to build the project. The build artifacts will be stored inside the dist directory.

How To Customize

While developing a website using our template, you will need some modification to adjust your web to your idea. Making a new component with existing ones will be questionable for users who have a first touch in our template. We are going to give some examples to have you understand about our components.

Import component

Importing a component is the first step in customizing.Item is the most friquently used component. TorkGo provide you with several types of Items that are used in various layouts. Even though we've accommodated suitable Items for each demo but you may have better idea about it.

Mapping Props

The next step after component importing is sending props to component. Remember that the props you are going to send must be already defined in the component before you do it. And Prop names should always use camelCase during declaration, but kebab-case in templates. Also misusing props will bring about issues and even fatal errors. So you should check props carefully to prevent failure.

Change Carousel Setting

TorkGo used swiper slider for carousel. In order to give setting to swiper slider, you should customize it as you want.

How To Change Style

Modify SASS

Since Nuxt support importing scss, you could get the benefit of it. Pls open the static/scss/demos, add the scss code you want. Demo-home.scss is typically used to change the style of index page, demo-base.scss is for header and footer, and demo-custom.scss is for shop and product pages.
Thanks to the hot reloading, you could the style changes immediately.
